1. Description of Service
Xport Athletes is a recruiting software tool designed to convert interactions on X (formerly Twitter) into "hydrated" athlete recruiting profiles. The service provides:
• Data Extraction: Asynchronous scraping of data from a user’s liked tweets, an athlete’s pinned tweets, and their public bio.
• Profile Hydration: Extraction of critical recruiting data, including NCAA IDs, years of eligibility, height (formatted as 5'10"), and secondary positions.
• Recruiting Management: Features such as "Deep Search" for scholarship offer tracking, manual status/ranking updates, and organized import batches.
• Data Portability: Ability to download data to CSV, email results via SMTP2GO, or export directly to recruiting platforms like ARMS and Teamworks.
2. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
By using Xport Athletes, you agree to these terms. This service is intended for college coaching staffs, recruiting coordinators, and scouting departments. Users must sign in using their X (formerly Twitter) account; Google sign-in is not supported.
3. User Obligations and Usage
• Scraping Activity: You understand that Xport Athletes operates by scraping data based on your "Likes" on X. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the platform complies with any athletic department policies.
• Data Accuracy: While Xport Athletes automates data entry to solve the "manual entry" bottleneck, the Company is not responsible for the accuracy of the data provided by athletes on social media.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your X account used to access the dashboard.
4. Fees and Subscriptions
• Pricing Structure: Access to Xport Athletes is provided through a simple user subscription interface or a formal software contract tailored to the organization.
• Fee Disclosure: Specific fees and payment schedules are disclosed privately within the user’s subscription dashboard or stipulated in the individual software contract provided to interested organizations.
• Tiered Pricing: Fees may vary based on the organization’s division, type, or scale.
• Non-Refundable: All fees are non-refundable once a scraping or "hydration" job has been initiated, as the service consumes resources to provide automated data extraction immediately.
• Renewal: Subscription terms and renewal details will be governed by the specific software contract or the terms selected within the subscription interface at the time of purchase.
5. Third-Party Integrations
Xport Athletes supplements and integrates with third-party services including X, ARMS, Teamworks, and SMTP2GO.
• The Company is not responsible for changes to third-party APIs that may affect the "Deep Search" or extraction features.
• The service is designed to facilitate the "porting" of data into these systems to eliminate manual entry.
6. Intellectual Property
Poutier Ventures LLC retains all rights to the Xport Athletes platform, including its proprietary scraping logic, asynchronous processing workflows, and the "hydration" algorithms. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the data extracted for their specific recruiting purposes.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Company provides the service "as is." Poutier Ventures LLC is not liable for:
• Recruiting outcomes or the failure to identify specific athletes.
• Temporary downtime during peak recruiting cycles (e.g., the summer ramp-up).
• Errors in "Deep Search" offer notifications or NIL data tracking.
8. Termination
The Company reserves the right to terminate access if a user is found to be scraping non-athlete data or if the account is used in a manner that violates these terms.
